Japanese and Korean restaurants often take reservations for dinner and may add a service charge for large groups; Thai and Vietnamese spots are usually walk-in and quick-turnover. Spice levels are frequently adjustable on request at Thai, Indian and Sichuan-adjacent menus, so say if you want it mild or hot. Korean BBQ restaurants typically charge per person for all-you-can-eat service with a time limit, and grills are shared at the table. Vietnamese pho shops post bowl sizes (regular or large) and a plate of herbs, bean sprouts and lime is normal to add yourself. This is inside a food hall so that’s why the mid rating for ambience however lots of seating available. I’m from India and really appreciate having a flavour packed meal. Today we were rushing to midway and got our meal quickly and thoroughly enjoyed. It was a hearty soulful meal that was just right. It is also zabiha halal and so that was a huge plus and pleasantly surprising. Very kind staff. I got their mango lassi complimentary and it was really flavourful. My main issue with lassi has always been that some places make the yogurt too overpowering that none of the other flavours come through but the mango and the cardamom was balanced really well. Well priced bowls for the punch they pack. If I’m ever in Chicago even for a few hours, I will definitely be grabbing this again. Spicy curry leaf chicken $15.50 10/10 Mango lassi 10/10

Hungry and tired after arriving in Chicago, I was excited to find what looked like an innovative Indian-food-inspired takeout spot in a food hall. The many fake 5-star reviews worried me, but... Indian food! I got to the counter. A few people were chatting by the back wall. No one came to help me. Someone else had begun making a bowl for a guy in front of me, but the guy had left and I think she'd given up. I looked down at the food trays. Two were visible. One had a little sad-looking charred chicken, not enough for the charred chicken bowl I'd planned to get. The other had a little chicken in a red curry sauce and a whole lot of grease. A few minutes passed. I looked at my phone. No one came by. I walked over and got amazing service and a fantastic roll at their Korean-food neighbors. So I recommend that you do the same! Leaving a 1-star review to counteract the fake reviews, which are hilarious. For example: "Absolutely loved the food - perfect balance of flavor, freshness, and presentation. Every bite felt thoughtfully made and left a lasting impression. Thank you Ritesh, Tarika and team for your incredible service!"

Wow, that is all I can say. I love Indian food.. or at least I thought what I had been eating was Indian food all these years. After eating here I’m not sure what I’ve been eating, because this place is on another level. I got the Spicy Curry Leaf Chicken and it took me to another plane of existence. The mixture of flavors, textures, spices - it was something you’d expect to pay $30-40 for at a fancy restaurant- not $15 at a food hall! Give them a chance next time you’re looking for a little spice in your life!
